Chocolate Chuck Avocado Ice Cream

If you are preparing a special meal for somebody's birthday while they are on the ketogenic diet, it can be very tempting to simply present them with a regular birthday cake. One of the problems with serving up a regular birthday cake is that it can cause someone to get out of their hard-earned ketosis state. The good news is that there are a number of excellent desserts that you could serve up for somebody on their birthday that could give them a sweet treat without risking their diet.

Ice cream can be a pretty popular choice to take somebody out for on their birthday. Going to the local ice cream parlor could be a huge way to risk a ketogenic diet. Because traditional ice cream is filled with so many extra sugars and carbohydrates, finding an alternative can be a great way that you can celebrate and still get the same flavor.

This recipe mostly contains avocados which can be a staple of the ketogenic diet. Avocados themselves can contain extensive amounts of potassium, fiber as well as healthy fats. Eating this ice cream which is mostly avocado can actually work at boosting your metabolism so that you can burn fat faster.

Coconut milk is another ingredient here and it's rich with vitamin C, E, B5, B6 and B3 as well as a series of minerals like magnesium, selenium and calcium. Coconut milk and avocado together create a wonderful and healthy mixture in this ice cream.


  • 2 large Hass avocados
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup erythritol, powdered
  • 25 drops liquid stevia
  • 6 squares unsweetened Baker's Chocolate

To Begin:

You will need at least two avocados, a full cup of coconut milk, half a cup of heavy whipping cream, half a cup of sweet and cocoa powder, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, a keto friendly sweetener and Baker's chocolate or dark chocolate.

Start by cutting the two avocados in half and scooping them out into a bowl. Add in the coconut milk and heavy cream with the vanilla extract and then use an immersion blender to mix together the items in the ice cream.

When you feel the mixture is smooth enough, you can chop up the chocolate and added into the bowl. Freeze the mixture together and after a few hours you will find it hardening and ready to eat.
