Keto Cinnamon Donuts - Gluten Free & Full Of Protein

A very popular treat that many people crave on the keto diet are traditional keto cinnamon donuts. It's possible that you may pass by several donut shops every day. Enjoying one of these could put you out of ketosis almost immediately. Rather than taking that risk, this recipe could be an ideal way to enjoy a delicious donut that will not put back your progress.

Almond flour remains one of the main ingredients here and this can be an excellent low-carb alternative to producing any baked goods on your diet. Almond milk is another popular item that is placed in these donuts. This milk is low in calories, it can strengthen your bones and it can also reduce the risk of heart disease.

Eggs also make up a large portion of this recipe giving you much-needed protein, minerals and vitamins.

Keto Cinnamon Donut Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Blanched almond flour
  • 1/3 cup Erythritol
  • 2 tsp Gluten-free baking, powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/4 cup Butter (unsalted; measured solid, then melted)
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 large Egg
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

Cinnamon Coating

  • 1/2 cup Erythritol
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp Butter (unsalted; measured solid, then melted)

To Get Started (Instructions):

You will need almond flour, erythritol, baking powder, sea salt, cinnamon, butter, unsweetened almond milk, two eggs and vanilla extract.

Begin this recipe by preheating your oven to 350° and greasing down a donut pan with butter.

Stir together the almond flour, baking powder, erythritol, cinnamon and Cecil together. Whisk together the wet ingredients including almond milk, egg, melted butter, vanilla extract and combine the wet and dry ingredients together.

Form a batter and filled the donut pan roughly 3/4 of the way full. Bake these items for 22 to 28 minutes until they become golden brown. Keep in mind that it could take a bit longer with a silicone pan.

Stir together the cinnamon and erythritol for the coating on the donuts in a separate bowl.

When the donuts are completely cooked and cooled, you can place them onto a cutting board. Brush the donuts down with melted butter and then roll the sweetener and cinnamon mixture over the top to produce the flavoring.

Consider this delicious, sweet recipe for dessert if you are looking for a great way to satisfy your cravings!
